* build: Split test programs off into separate filesDiego Biurrun2016-04-07
| | | | | This avoids spurious library rebuilds when only the test program code is changed and simplifies the build system.
* parseutils-test: Move some variable declarations to avoid block bracesDiego Biurrun2016-03-23
|
* parseutil: Use non ambiguous aliases for uhdLuca Barbato2015-07-21
| | | | uhd1 and uhd2 would be ambigous.
* parseutil: Add more resolution aliasesLuca Barbato2015-07-20
| | | | Add DCI 2k and 4k and uhd1 and uhd2.
* parseutils: Make av_small_strptime publicLuca Barbato2015-04-07
| | | | | | And use it in libavformat. Based on a similar patch by Stefano Sabatini <stefasab@gmail.com>.
* parseutils: Extend small_strptime to be used in avformatLuca Barbato2015-04-06
| | | | The strptime implementation is supposed to support whitespace and %T.
* Don't anonymously typedef structsDiego Biurrun2015-02-14

* Use gmtime_r instead of gmtime and localtime_r instead of localtimeMartin Storsjö2014-10-26
| | | | | | | | | | | gmtime isn't thread safe in general. In msvcrt (which lacks gmtime_r), the buffer used by gmtime is thread specific though. One call to localtime is left in avconv_opt.c, where thread safety shouldn't matter (instead of making avconv depend on the libavutil internal header). * parseutils: fix discarding const attribute warningVittorio Giovara2013-12-12

* Use the avstring.h locale-independent character type functionsReimar Döffinger2013-03-07
| | | | | | Make sure the behavior does not change with the locale. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* Remove pointless #undefs of previously forbidden functions.Anton Khirnov2012-12-04

* parseutils-test: various cleanupsMans Rullgard2012-10-11
| | | | | | | | | - make tables static const - remove useless use of compound literal - break long lines - fix a comma/semicolon typo Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* parseutils: fix const removal warningMans Rullgard2012-10-11
| | | | | | | | | | The const qualifier is still removed although it happens inside the strtol() function so no warning is generated. Fixes: libavutil/parseutils.c:110:11: warning: assignment discards qualifiers from pointer target type Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* parseutils-test: do not print numerical error codesMans Rullgard2012-10-10
| | | | | | | The error codes differ between systems so printing the value makes the fate test fail on some systems. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* parseutils: fix parsing of invalid alpha valuesMans Rullgard2012-10-06
| | | | | | | | | | An alpha specifier outside the valid range results in a conversion from double to long with undefined result. Range-checking the double and only converting it after it passes avoids this. Fixes fate-parseutils errors on some systems. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* parseutils-test: Drop random colors from parsing testDiego Biurrun2012-10-06
| | | | This guarantees stable output for comparing test results.
* Don't include common.h from avutil.hMartin Storsjö2012-08-15
| | | | Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* Remove unnecessary inclusions of [sys/]time.hMans Rullgard2012-06-20
| | | | Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Replace memset(0) by zero initializations.Diego Biurrun2012-03-28
| | | | Also remove one pointless zero initialization in rangecoder.c.
* avutil: Add av_timegm as a public functionMartin Storsjö2011-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | This is useful, since the normal timegm function isn't a standard function (requiring _BSD_SOURCE or _SVID_SOURCE on glibc to be visible, and not available on e.g. windows). The widely available function mktime uses the local time zone, which requires ugly workarounds to handle UTC time. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* Replace all usage of strcasecmp/strncasecmpReimar Döffinger2011-11-06
| | | | | | | | | | | All current usages of it are incompatible with localization. For example strcasecmp("i", "I") != 0 is possible, but would break many of the places where it is used. Instead use our own implementations that always treat the data as ASCII. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* Replace some forgotten FFmpeg references by Libav.Diego Biurrun2011-11-02
|
* doxygen: Make sure parameter names match between .c and .h files.Diego Biurrun2011-07-14
|
* Do not include log.h in avutil.hMans Rullgard2011-07-03
| | | | Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Remove return statements following infinite loops without breakMans Rullgard2011-07-03
| | | | | | | These statements cannot be reached and are thus not needed. This removes a number of compiler warnings. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Drop unnecessary directory prefixes from #include directives.Diego Biurrun2011-06-07

* Replace FFmpeg with Libav in licence headersMans Rullgard2011-03-19
| | | | Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Move find_info_tag to lavu and add av_ prefix to itAnton Khirnov2011-02-17
| | | | Signed-off-by: Janne Grunau <janne-ffmpeg@jannau.net>
* Deprecate parse_date() in favor of av_parse_time().Stefano Sabatini2011-02-16
| | | | | | | | The new av_parse_time() is created in libavutil/parseutils.h, all the internal functions used by parse_date are moved to libavutil/parseutils.c and made static. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Merge libavcore into libavutilReinhard Tartler2011-02-15
It is pretty hopeless that other considerable projects will adopt libavutil alone in other projects. Projects that need small footprint are better off with more specialized libraries such as gnulib or rather just copy the necessary parts that they need. With this in mind, nobody is helped by having libavutil and libavcore split. In order to ease maintenance inside and around FFmpeg and to reduce confusion where to put common code, avcore's functionality is merged (back) to avutil.
