* Add an HDS live fragmenting muxerMartin Storsjö2013-11-02
| | | | | | | HDS fragments basically are FLV fragments wrapped in an ISO media mdat atom. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* lavf: Remove a now useless parameter to ffurl_register_protocolMartin Storsjö2013-10-30
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This was added in 9b07a2dc02e9 as an ABI hack to allow older code built with lavf 52 to register protocols even if the size of the URLProtocol struct was increased. Later, registering protocols from outside of lavf was removed and this workaround isn't needed any longer since lavf 53. This removes an unchecked malloc and a memory leak for the cases when this workaround actually was used - which it hasn't since lavf 53. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* movenc: Add an F4V muxerClément Bœsch2013-10-23
| | | | | | | | F4V is Adobe's mp4/iso media variant, with the most significant addition/change being supporting other flash codecs than just aac/h264. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* lavf: Add a protocol for SRTP encryption/decryptionMartin Storsjö2013-01-15
| | | | | | | | This is mostly useful for encryption together with the RTP muxer, but could also be set up as IO towards the peer with the SDP demuxer with custom IO. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* build: Avoid detecting bogus components named 'x'Clément Bœsch2013-01-03
| | | | | | | | | | The function find_things() in configure is confused by component registration calls as part of multiline macros defining combined component registration. Coalesce those macros into one line to work around the issue. Signed-off-by: Diego Biurrun <diego@biurrun.de> Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* hlsenc: stand alone hls segmenterLuca Barbato2012-11-13
| | | | Simplifies usage but has higher latency.
* Add a smooth streaming segmenter muxerMartin Storsjö2012-09-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This muxer splits the output from the ismv muxer into individual files, in realtime. The same can also be done by the standalone tool ismindex, but this muxer is needed for doing it in realtime (especially for live streams that need extra handling for updating the lookahead fields in the fragment headers). Using this muxer, one can deliver live smooth streaming from a normal static file web server. (Using ismindex, one can deliver premade smooth streaming files from a static file web server, or prepare files for serving with IIS.) Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* RTMPE protocol supportSamuel Pitoiset2012-07-23
| | | | | | | | | | This adds two protocols, but one of them is an internal implementation detail just used as an abstraction layer/generalization in the code. The RTMPE protocol implementation uses ffrtmpcrypt:// as an alternative to the tcp:// protocol. This allows moving most of the lower level logic out from the higher level generic rtmp code. * rtmp: Rename rtmphttp to ffrtmphttpSamuel Pitoiset2012-07-17
| | | | | | | The prefix makes it easier to distinguish the proper end-user protocols from the internal ones. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>

* Remove libnut wrapperDiego Biurrun2012-05-21

* libavformat: Rename the applehttp protocol to hlsMartin Storsjö2012-02-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Keep the old protocol name around for backwards compatibility until the next bump. Deprecate the method of implicitly assuming the nested protocol. For applehttp://server/path, it might have felt logical, but supporting hls://server/path isn't quite as intuitive. Therefore only support hls+http://server/path from now on. Using this protocol at all is discouraged, since the hls demuxer is more complete and fits into the architecture better. There have been cases where the protocol implementation worked better than the demuxer, but this should no longer be the case. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* libavformat: Rename the applehttp demuxer to hlsMartin Storsjö2012-02-14
| | | | | | | | When this demuxer was created, there didn't seem to be any consensus of a common short name for this protocol. Now the consensus seems to be to call it hls. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* librtmp: Add "lib" prefix to librtmp URLProtocol declarations.Diego Biurrun2012-02-14
| | | | | | This allows easily differentiating between both implementations within the build system and combining the native implementation for plain RTMP with librtmp for the RTMPE, RTMPS, RTMPT, RTMPTE protocol variants.
* build: Set correct dependencies for rtmp* protocols implemented by librtmp.Diego Biurrun2012-02-13

* Add PlayStation Portable PMP format demuxerReimar Döffinger2011-12-01
| | | | | | | | | Not yet complete, for demuxing AAC the AAC header must be generated manually. Possibly the decoder could accept the header as extradata to simplify this. Signed-off-by: Anton Khirnov <anton@khirnov.net>
* avformat: add CRI ADX format demuxerJustin Ruggles2011-11-26

* http: Add a new protocol for opening connections via http proxiesMartin Storsjö2011-11-18
| | | | | | | | | | This opens a plain TCP connection through the proxy via the CONNECT HTTP method. Normally, this is allowed for connections on port 443, but can in general be used to allow connections to any port (depending on proxy configuration), and could thus be used to tunnel any TCP connection via a HTTP proxy. * avformat: Add the tls protocol, using OpenSSL or gnutlsMartin Storsjö2011-11-05
| | | | | | | | Note, this protocol doesn't yet check verify the server certificate against a local database of trusted CA root certificates. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* Add LATM demuxerJanne Grunau2011-09-22
| | | | | This is a raw demuxer for the AAC LATM decoder and thus limited to single stream LOAS.

* Add a protocol handler for AES CBC decryption with PKCS7 paddingMartin Storsjö2011-04-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | This can later be extended to support other AES bit sizes, encryption, other crypto algorithms, reading the key from a URL, etc. In order to use it, the key and initialization vector has to be passed via AVOptions. Since such options can't be passed to protocols from the command line, the protocol is currently only for libavformat internal use. Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
