* Move PS2 MMI code below the mips subdirectory, where it belongs.Diego Biurrun2012-02-13
| | | | | Also give a more suitable name to the MMI-optimized IDCT; it is not PS2-specific, as the name currently suggests.
* build: Add missing directories to DIRS declarations.Diego Biurrun2012-02-09
|
* Remove Sun medialib glue code.Diego Biurrun2012-02-08
| | | | | It is obscure, most likely unused and not bit-exact compared to libavcodec due to a different IDCT transform algorithm.
* h264: Split h264-test off into a separate file - golomb-test.c.Diego Biurrun2012-01-31
| | | | The new name is more appropriate as only golomb functions are tested.
* png: move DSP functions to their own DSP context.Ronald S. Bultje2012-01-29
|
* aacsbr: move some simdable loops to function pointersMans Rullgard2012-01-28
| | | | | | | | This prepares for assembly optimisations by moving the most time-consuming loops to functions called through pointers in a new context. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* lavc: remove the deprecated opt.h header.Anton Khirnov2012-01-27

* avcodec: add a new codec_id for CRYO APC IMA ADPCM.Justin Ruggles2012-01-24
| | | | | The stereo layout and extradata is significantly different from that in Westwood IMA ADPCM, so a separate codec_id is warranted.
* XWD encoder and decoderPaul B Mahol2012-01-23
| | | | Signed-off-by: Kostya Shishkov <kostya.shishkov@gmail.com>
* avcodec: add GSM parserJustin Ruggles2012-01-11
| | | | | The WAVE demuxer returns packets with many blocks per frame, which needs to be parsed into single blocks. This has a side-effect of fixing the timestamps.
* Indeo 4 decoderKostya Shishkov2011-12-28
| | | | Signed-off-by: Kostya Shishkov <kostya.shishkov@gmail.com>
* build: fix standalone compilation of ADX encoderDiego Biurrun2011-12-20
| | | | The encoder depends on the common code, so link against it.
* build: fix standalone compilation of ADPCM decodersDiego Biurrun2011-12-20
| | | | The generic ADPCM codes depends on the ADPCM data tables.
* v410 encoder and decoderDerek Buitenhuis2011-12-13
| | | | | | | | v410 is a packed 10-bit 4:4:4 YCbCr format used in QuickTime. Signed-off-by: Derek Buitenhuis <derek.buitenhuis@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Diego Biurrun <diego@biurrun.de>
* build: move inclusion of subdir.mak to main subdir loopMans Rullgard2011-12-13
| | | | Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* Dxtory capture format decoderKostya Shishkov2011-12-10
| | | | Signed-off-by: Anton Khirnov <anton@khirnov.net>
* avformat: add CRI ADX format demuxerJustin Ruggles2011-11-26
|
* adx: add an ADX parser.Justin Ruggles2011-11-26
| | | | | | This simplifies the decoder so it doesn't have to process an in-packet header or handle arbitrary-sized packets. It also fixes decoding of files with large headers.
* adx: calculate correct LPC coeffsJustin Ruggles2011-11-26
| | | | | | Instead of using fixed coefficients, the correct way is to calculate the coefficients using the highpass cutoff frequency from the ADX stream header and the sample rate.
* snow: split snow in snowdec and snowencLuca Barbato2011-11-24
| | | | | The common non inlined code goes in snow.c, the common inlined code in snow.h, tables move in snowdata.h (included only by snow.c)
* hwaccel: OS X Video Decoder Acceleration (VDA) support.Sebastien Zwickert2011-11-14
| | | | Signed-off-by: Luca Barbato <lu_zero@gentoo.org>
* VBLE DecoderDerek Buitenhuis2011-11-11
| | | | | | | | | Add a decoder for the VBLE Lossless Codec, which still has a cult following. Used to be popular several years ago on doom9. Signed-off-by: Derek Buitenhuis <derek.buitenhuis@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Storsjö <martin@martin.st>
* avcodec: add support for planar signed 8-bit PCM.Justin Ruggles2011-11-09
| | | | | | It is found in some 8svx files (e.g. ones created by SoX). Currently the decoder reuses the 8svx functions because we already have handling of a single large planar packet for the compressed 8svx codecs.
* BMV demuxer and decoderKostya Shishkov2011-11-08

* lavc: remove "legacy" mpegvideo decoder.Anton Khirnov2011-10-27
|
* avcodec: remove the Zork PCM encoder.Justin Ruggles2011-10-26
| | | | | | The Zork PCM decoder does not decode the 1 sample we have correctly, therefore the encoder based on the decoder is also incorrect. There is no good reason to keep the encoder.
* g722: split decoder and encoder into separate filesJustin Ruggles2011-10-23
|
* libspeexenc: add libspeex encoderJustin Ruggles2011-10-20
|
* Only test-compile w32pthreads.h if W32THREADS are available.Diego Biurrun2011-10-20
| | | | This fixes 'make checkheaders' on non-W32THREADS systems.
* Ut Video decoderKostya Shishkov2011-10-19

* adpcm: split ADPCM encoders and decoders into separate files.Justin Ruggles2011-09-12
| | | | Move shared tables to a separate file as well.
* Add LATM muxerKieran Kunhya2011-09-07
| | | | Signed-off-by: Janne Grunau <janne-libav@jannau.net>
* Use parsers for RealVideo 3/4 to determine correct PTSKostya Shishkov2011-08-17
| | | | Signed-off-by: Anton Khirnov <anton@khirnov.net>
* bink: make IDCT take 32-bit inputKostya Shishkov2011-07-27
| | | | | | | | | | | Since IDCT transforming 32-bit input to 8-bit output is unusual and unpractical for most codecs, move Bink IDCT into separate context. Get rid of an additional permutation table while at it since SIMD support for Bink IDCT is unlikely to be implemented in foreseeable future. Quantisation tables also have to change type to signed for proper dequantisation of DCT coefficients. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* add Flash Screen Video 2 decoderKostya Shishkov2011-07-22
| | | | Signed-off-by: Ronald S. Bultje <rsbultje@gmail.com>
* Remove snow/dwt test programMans Rullgard2011-07-20
| | | | | | | This test program so full of programming errors it is impossible to make sense of it. Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* eac3enc: use frame exponent strategy when applicable.Justin Ruggles2011-07-19
| | | | | | | This checks if the set of selected exponent strategies for all blocks in a channel are in the frame exponent strategy table, and if so, writes the table index instead of each strategy. This saves up to 7 bits per channel per frame, so the overall effect on quality is small.
* cosmetics: rename eac3dec_data.c/h to eac3_data.c/h since the tables will alsoJustin Ruggles2011-07-19
| | | | be used in the E-AC-3 encoder.
* mp3enc: write a xing frame containing number of frames in the fileAnton Khirnov2011-07-08
|
* build: include sub-makefiles using full path instead of symlinksMans Rullgard2011-06-28
| | | | Signed-off-by: Mans Rullgard <mans@mansr.com>
* build: Remove redundant config.mak includes from subdirectory Makefiles.Diego Biurrun2011-06-25
| | | | | Calling Make from subdirectories is not supported and config.mak has multiple inclusion guards anyway, so the top-level include is enough.
* ac3enc: split templated float vs. fixed functions into a separate file.Justin Ruggles2011-06-13
| | | | | Function pointers are used for templated functions instead of needlessly duplicating many functions.
